Paradise on Earth.

Once, hiking on a prospecting expedition when I was a teenager, I stumbled on something similar to this in a very rugged and remote area of the Sierra foothills. There were two of us on this death hike, and the fall of the creek into the plunge pool was about 100 feet and very dramatic. After a very dangerous traverse around and down to the pool, we christened it "little Hawaii." This amazing feature was on no map, we didn't expect to find it, and I have never heard of anyone else going there. A truly secret spot.

The Valle de Pisuena, Cantabria, Spain .... or is it Shangra La from the farthest Himilaya?
