Manskill - extreme primitive level

Dude knapps off a bit of obsidian, then shaves his face with it.  The edge on a piece of obsidian actually has a sharper edge than surgical tools, and sometimes is even used by them when they need small, exact cuts.

  1. I've got nine stitches in my right leg where I was showing my daughter just how sharp obsidian can be. It was a piece that rolled of a ledge and hit my leg on the way down. Then there was the long drive down the mountain to the ER in Alturas. Neat stuff that obsidian. Nice blood mess in the ole' Scout.

    1. I didn't even feel the cut, there was no pain. The ER doc was impressed by how clean and straight the cut was, and deep.
