And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Size comparison between the Falcon Heavy and a Saturn V
The Saturn V was in a class by itself. Technology has come a long way since then, but the Falcon Heavy won't send a crew to the Moon and return them safely to Earth. The Saturn V did that over and over.
As much as I would like to compare the falcon heavy and the Saturn V, the Falcon heavy is really only a direct competitor to the Delta IV heavy for payloads to geostationary locations. With the Falcon heavy only having better performance to low earth orbit.
In other words, it's a numbers game and the Falcon heavy is a much smaller and less capable rocket when compared to the Saturn V.

Well, from a practical standpoint, the FH can loft a small manned capsule and get it around the moon. Nobody thinks it can lift enough mass to the moon's surface to replicate past missions.
