And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

People are just noticing this - in his official portrait, his left hand has five fingers and no thumb!
CW----- Duhbama's being swallowed up by a hedge of that ol' southern creeper, kudzu. And, due to professional courtesy, he's got nothing to fear from the rats and snakes.............
My first thought was, "they got his head too big." Look at the shape of his head; it's a "v" shape. The real shape of his head is bigger around the ears and then tapers in at the top. I think it was painted that way to obscure his dumbo ears. Yeah, this "official" portrait is horrendous.
Jeb, it is important that the People (as in "We the People") need to see this portrait and remember this fellow and his entire family and what they did to this country. if the People can not remember their past mistakes, they will continue to make the same mistakes over and over again. I believe hanging it in a prominent place for all to see when they walk in the front door of the Capitol building would me much more appropriate than the broom closet of the Smithsonian museum. we all need to remember that he was elected twice as President and his role in our economic demise should be remembered by one and all. I can still see the Chinese delegation laughing at him when he deplaned from Air Force One by the "servants entrance". That is the image that the portrait for the White House should display.
They already have him seated on a toilet! I love my conservative people !
