Shave of the Day

B&M Seville soap, Klenzo b75 brush, WCS Midnight 84B stainless steel razor, Astra blade, Dapper Doc's aftershave from PAA.

Two and a half passes, no blood, great shave.

  1. Solely due to your subtle references/influences, I recently purchased a "Safety Razor."

I did so hoping to experience a smoother, closer, more comfortable shave.

However, now that at least 25% of my former face/neck skin has been permanently removed (along with +/-1/2 pint of blood), I believe that I'll revert back to the good-new 3, 4, or 5-blade "Danger Razors" that I've apparently become much better accustomed to.

I can honestly say without any hesitation that I feel lucky to have survived the incident!

    1. Don't give up! 30 degree angle, stretch the skin, don't press - the razor should do the work without having to push it against the skin.

This video is pretty good, and the guy has a Scottish accent.
